This weekend we puppy-sat the cutest, sweetest dog named Bea (short for Beatrice). I decided to make dog biscuits and merged two recipes and halved it. As you can see below, Bea helped me find just the right recipes.
Recipe inspired by King Arthur’s Flour Blog and Dog Treat Kitchen
INGREDIENTS
1 c whole wheat flour (white flour also works)
½ c oats
2 tbsps peanut butter (I use all natural, no sugar)
½ c hot water
½ tsp fresh chopped parsley (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients. Roll out and cut into shapes. I used a small star cookie cutter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Dogs like a crispy, well baked treat.
