Influencer Dinner at Public Greens

September 14, 2016

Last night I was honored to be included at Eat Here Indy’s Influencer Night Dinner at Public Greens. The dinner was created to connect Indy’s growing food community through a fun dinner of networking.

My friend, Ryu, was kind enough to invite me to be his date for the evening and I was in culinary heaven. I knew some of the influencers through my work with Dig IN and it was fun to re-connect over dinner.

Ryu is probably one of the most stylish men in Indy and he just ‘gets me.’ We bonded over old school J.Crew and our love of food. He was the perfect date and this was not our first rodeo – we split the mains so that we could both taste the beef and the trout.

The tomato brulee was a delicious starter. I had never thought of caramelizing a tomato. Add tapenade, a sprig of basil, and some really good olive oil and it’s a party in your mouth.

Dessert was a brandied peach with a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with almond granola. It was a sweet end to the perfect meal. Not only do I love the food at Public Greens, but I also love their mission. All of the proceeds from Public Greens goes right back to the Patachou Foundation to serve healthy meals to food insecure kids.

Xx, Libby
